Eagle Scout Recognition Ceremonies in 2024
The Mount Vernon Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) supports the Scouts of America through it’s
Eagle Scout program. When a Scout has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the Chapter will recognize the achievement by presenting the Scout with a
Certificate of Recognition. This Certificate can be presented at the Court of Honor ceremony by our Chapter's Eagle Scout Chairman, or
an alternate member of the Mount Vernon Chapter.

Eagle Scout Certificates of Recognition
January 29th, 2024
On Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, Jacob O'Meara of Troop 463 in Sandy Springs was presented an Eagle Scout Certificate
by Mount Vernon's Eagle Scout Chairman Chuck Olson.
The Court of Honor started at 7:00 pm and was held in the Lower School Cafeteria of the Mount Vernon School in Sandy Springs, GA.
The other Eagle Scouts shown in the photo received their certificates in 2023.
