About 75 people showed up to be a part of the ceremony honoring the brave men and women who served during the Vietnam War. The annual event was held at the Faces of War Memorial at Roswell's City Hall. Roswell High School band members played opening music and the Star Spangled Banner for the event.

Mount Vernon Chapter members Jack Dyer from Canton and Chuck Rann from Roswell were there to hear a heartfelt tribute from Roswell Mayor Kurt Wilson. There was the laying of the wreath, followed by a moment of silence to honor those who gave their lives in service.

Roswell City Council members, David Johnson, Sarah Beeson, Christine Hall, Lee Hills, and William Morthland participated in the ceremony, offering gratitude and support.
(Councilman Allen Sells was out of town)

The National Vietnam War Veterans Day Ceremony event aims to recognize and express gratitude to the veterans who sacrificed so much in service to our nation.
