Guest Speaker Mary Williams (center) Guest Speaker Mary Williams Chip Floyd receives his Charter Membership Certificate New Members Inducted into The Mount Vernon Chapter John Bivins (His wife Connie is to his Right), John Elwood, Tom Hughes, Charlie Fetter (for his son, Nicholas Lawrence Fetter), SAR President General Larry Guzy, and Mount Vernon Chapter Registrar Tom Chrisman. John Bivins (L) was also received membership certificates for his two grandsons, Gabriel Alexander Warchol & Michael Harlan Charles Warchol. Chuck Olson presented the Robert E. Burt Boy Scout Volunteer Award by President General Larry Guzy and Chapter President Shep Hammack Chuck Olson was awarded the Robert E. Burt Boy Scout Volunteer Award at Congress this past July. He is 1 of 6 to receive the award. President General Larry Guzy welcomed the new members to the Chapter. The Chapter received a streamer for the Wreath presented at Kings Mountain on Oct. 7th.
